The government has provided a Coronavirus Catch-up Premium for the 2020/2021 academic year. The government has said that schools should use this funding for specific activities to support their pupils to catch up for lost teaching over the previous months, in line with the guidance on curriculum expectations for the next academic year. Schools have the flexibility to spend their funding in the best way for their cohort and circumstances. Further information on the Catch-up Premium is available here.
We anticipate receiving a total of: £6,720 during the 2020/2021 academic year.
We will be spending the premium on:
- Supporting our Reconnect, Recover and Thrive strategy
- Additional before and after school targeted interventions
- Tutoring using a partner of the National Tuition Programme
Each area listed above has commenced during autumn 2020. The impact will be measured through regular monitoring, assessment and evaluation.
