LAMDA EXAMS
Oracy is a high priority at Garstang St Thomas School. We want every pupil to be a confident communicator and we work to support speech, language and oracy from the start of school until Year 6. Towards the end of key stage two, we enter children in externally graded solo exams with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Below are the results:
Year 6, class of 2022: 100% pass rate – 37% of pupils passed with distinction / 63% of pupils passed with merit
Year 6, class of 2023: 100% pass rate – 100% of pupils passed with distinction
Year 6, class of 2024: 100% pass rate- 90% with distinction/ 10% with merit
Year 6, class of 2025: 100% pass rate- 100% of pupils passed with distinction
